Alexandre Locquet

Alexandre Locquet received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, Mons, Belgium, the Ph.D. degree (doctorat) in engineering science from the Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France, the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, and the HDR degree from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, Paris, France. He is currently a researcher with the International Research Lab  Georgia Tech-CNRS, located at Georgia Tech Europe, Metz, France, and an adjunct professor with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests are in photonic information processing, semiconductor laser dynamics and chaos, nonlinear time series analysis, physical-layer security, and terahertz imaging and spectroscopy for nondestructive evaluation. He has authored or co-authored over 200 journal publications and conference presentations, and two book chapters. He is a member of the Société Française d’Optique,  Eta Kappa Nuthe Optical Society of America (OSA), and the IEEE Photonics Society.
